Cirrus Design & FK Lightplanes Cirrus SRS lightsport aircraft

One of the things they will be working on is to increase the gross weight of the plane to better fit the lightsport aircraft category, as well as other modifications to "lower the speed."

The Cirrus SRS is a low wing, tri-cycle gear, side by side seating two place in a tractor configuration. Power is being supplied by the Rotax 912 S 100 HP aircraft engine.

While the new "Cirrus-ized" SRS will not be available for another year the company had on display and was flying a SRS at the AOPA convention.
