The Aerocruiser was first introduced in 1986, and since that
time the factory has delivered over 100 kits.
The kit uses aluminum tube construction covered in standard
aircraft covering materials. The kit as delivered from the
factory should take about 50 hours to do the final assembly.
The craft is one of the longest in the industry coming in at
over 25 feet. It is a tail dragger, in a tractor
configuration with side by side seating and standard stick
and rudder dual controls. |

The Aerocruiser is one of the
roomiest aircraft I have ever flown. Visibility is great
control pressure light. Cabin noise quite low.
I have flown a number of Aercruiser's equipped from the 503
to the 912 which is now the standard power plant they are a
great rugged, bushplane, with the performance of a home sick
angel.
Cruise on the 503 came in at
around 75, climb was 600 feet per minute and stall around
35. Owners report the factory should rate an B+ although the
ability to speak French would come in handy. |
