The Flight Design CT, CTLS, CTSW are lightsport
aircraft manufactured in Germany, and imported and
distributed in the U.S.A. by Flight Design U.S.A.
Power for the CT line of aircraft is supplied by the
Rotax 100 hp 912S four cylinder four stroke engine. The main difference between
the two aircraft is the shorter wingspan of the CTSW which
also features a set of wingtips. |

|
The Flight Design CT series of aircraft use
carbon fiber composite construction. Feature side by side
seating in a very wide cabin, with dual control sticks,
rudder pedals, and a center mounted throttle. The CT series
of aircraft also has flaps and a steerable nose wheel for
ground handling.
In the U.S. the aircraft comes standard with
a BRS Ballistic parachute, which in an emergency can be
deployed to bring both plane and occupants down safely.
At Airventure 2008 the CTMC was introduced
it is an metal aircraft, which features aluminum and steel
construction, and is targeted to the conventional flight
training market. As of 2009 the CT series of lightsport
aircraft are the best selling LSA on the U.S. market with
over 300 flying. |
