Manufacturer
Interplane
The Griffin is a single place ultralight being built in the
Czech republic and then shipped into the U.S. It is being
produced and built to a certified standard in Europe.
This quality control was quite evident in the finish of the
aircraft. The Griffin can be supplied ready to fly or
as an experimental lightsport aircraft kit. |

According to a
factory representative the single place Griffin built from
kit should take 200 hours. Construction used mates composite
fairings etc, with standard aircraft covering materials. The
design has been flying since 1984.
The Griffin when powered by a 503, will take about 200 feet
to get into the air, climb out at around 900 feet per minute
and cruise around along at 80 mph. |
