The Navigator 600, is an all composite
aircraft. It utilizes standard three axis dual controls,
with flaps.
Seating is side by side in a very spacious 47
inch wide cabin. The cabin has two air vents in the top of
the windshield and on the side doors.
The Navigator 600
instrument panel will allow for the installation of all the
toys a pilot could wish for. Two storage areas are located above and
behind each seat, with an additional baggage area behind the
left hand seat. |

The large doors which make for easy
entrance and exit are hinged at the top and are supported by
gas struts. The doors have an emergency exit feature which
allows the pilot to pull an emergency handle located inside
the cabin which releases the complete door to allow exit in
an emergency situation. A fire extinguisher is also provided
as standard equipment. The Navigator
600 uses dual joy sticks and two
throttles one located in the center, the other on the left
hand side of the instrument panel. Toe brakes are also
located on the left hand side rudder pedals. The flap handle
is located in the center of the plane just above the pilots
head.
The Navigator 600 is a tricycle gear with a
steerable nose wheel operated off of the foot pedals. The
rugged main landing gear is composite.
The wings can be
removed in a matter of minutes by two people by unhooking
two quick release aileron control rods, and pulling
specially designed pins located at the root of the wing, and
the end of the strut.
Power is supplied by the Rotax 912 S, 100
HP aircraft engine. Cruise comes in at around 70 knots.
Stall with flaps comes in well below 45 mph with no tendency
to drop a wing.
