Light Sport Aircraft Pilot is a directory of aircraft that generally fit

Sun N Fun has always been
known for the introduction of some of the most innovative
flying vehicles in the world. This years was no exception as

introduced their newest weight shift flying vehicle the
HOVERY.
The HOVERY is a twin engine circular flying vehicle called a
hovercraft which has been in the design and development
stages for nearly 25 years and is being marketed as an
assembly kit.
The
craft HOVERY kit is being manufactured in Brazil, and is
usually shipped out minus the engines which can be picked up
at a local hardware store or lumber yard.
This also allows the factory to ship the units out via
FedEx. The unit comes apart in about 10 minutes and can fit
inside the trunk of a car, meaning it does not need a
trailer to haul it around on.

The pilot of the HOVERY sits
on a chair in the center of the unit. Two engines behind on
both sides of him/her supply thrust down, to inflate the
hover cushion and thrust rearward to propel the craft.
The
two engines are connected to a single synchronized joystick
throttle assembly located in front and to the right of the
pilot. As he/she pushes forward the craft inflates and
accelerates.
Once up and flying the
pilot turns by pushing the joystick in the desired
direction. This causes a slight reduction in the engine on
that side of the HOVERY, the pilot assists by leaning in
that direction and the unit turns. The factory reports the
HOVERY can travel across, grass, water, sand, ice and snow
at speeds approaching 30 mph.
The factory is currently
looking for dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
