The Titan  was one of the first aircraft to be accepted under the advanced ultralight rules in Canada. It is a two place tandem seating aircraft, in a pusher configuration with a high cantilevered wing.

The cabin is 24 inches wide, providing 39 inches of headroom and 42 inches of legroom.

The Titan Tornado 2 features dual controls, with center mounted sticks, dual rudder pedals, and left hand throttles. The Tornado 2 also has flaps allowing for short field takeoffs and landings.

It also features an all flying stabilizer.

The Titan Tornado 2 has a welded 4130 steel fuselage, with an aluminum boom tube going to the tail. The wings and tail section are all aluminum pop riveted construction. Empty weight on the Tornado 2 is 430 pounds. It has a gross weight of 1000 pounds. The wingspan is 23'5" and the wing area is 108 ft.?. This gives a wing loading of 9.25 pounds per square foot. Length on the Tornado 2 comes in at 19 feet.

The Titan Tornado 2 has been tested to +6 and -4 g's. The standard 10 gallon fuel tank gives a range of approximately 200 miles, cruising along at 100 mph. It takes off in less than 300 feet, and can land with brakes in about the same distance.

A number of engines are available for the Titan Tornado 2, these include the Rotax 503, Rotax 582, Rotax 912, HKS, and Jabiru.

The Titan Tornado 2 is a lot of bang for the buck. It is well constructed and priced within reason. Kit building time is reported to be in the 350 to 400 hour range. Titan has been in business since the early days of the ultralight/light sport industry, and has an extensive network of dealers across the United States and Canada.
